Certification Requirement

Under federal law, only individuals or entities with valid EPA Section 608 or Section 609 certification are authorized to purchase and handle regulated refrigerants.

Before completing a purchase, customers must:

• Provide a copy of a valid EPA certification for the individual who will handle or install the refrigerant, or

• Confirm that the refrigerant is being purchased for resale to an EPA-certified technician or company.

Certification verification is required during checkout. Orders that do not comply with EPA certification requirements may be delayed, canceled, or refunded.
