Cool Wave Refrigerant – Sales Policy

Cool Wave Refrigerant is committed to supplying high-quality, ARI-700–compliant virgin refrigerants in full accordance with United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.

EPA Certification Requirement

Under U.S. federal law, the purchase of regulated refrigerants is restricted to individuals or entities holding a valid EPA Section 608 or Section 609 certification.

To complete a refrigerant purchase on our website, customers must:

  • Provide a valid EPA certification for the individual responsible for handling or installing the refrigerant, or

  • Confirm that the refrigerant is being purchased strictly for resale to a properly EPA-certified technician or company.

Certification Verification

During checkout, customers will be required to either:

  • Upload a copy of a valid EPA certification document, or

  • Select a certification verification option confirming that the product will be resold in compliance with EPA regulations.

Orders that do not meet these verification requirements may be delayed, canceled, or refunded to ensure regulatory compliance.

Compliance & Responsibility

By placing an order with Cool Wave Refrigerant, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • All refrigerants will be handled, installed, or resold only by EPA-certified professionals.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing refrigerant use and distribution.

Cool Wave Refrigerant reserves the right to request additional verification and to refuse service if compliance requirements are not met.
